PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION ADVOCATES METROPOLITAN
KANSAS CITY MO.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR ADVOCATING JUSTICE
If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry
out and not be answered.  Proverbs 21:13
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the
rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly, defend the rights of the poor and
needy.  Proverbs 31:8,9
Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue
oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights, and
withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making
widows their prey, and robbing the fatherless
Isaiah 10:1,2
I did not come to bring peace, but a sword
Matt 10:34
Democracy Demands Truth, Justice and Equity In Education,
Law Enforcement, Government and the Court System

Blacks continue leaving education due to double standards and maintenance
of the status quo.  Whites with high expectations for all Black Children face
similar problems and are forced to leave the profession as well.
People of Color continue to be manipulated, profiled and treated as second
class citizens.  The victims of racially motivated stops, questioning, and
searches whether in a car, the court room, in a shopping mall, walking, on a
train, on a bus or hailing a taxicab or using credit receive inhumane and
discriminatory treatment from those who should be protecting us. The type
of Car, your Age, your Race, and your Dress are the justifications for racial
profiling.
PEOPLE OF COLOR AND THE POOR MUST UNITE AND DEMAND
JUSTICE

EDUCATION

Throughout the history of desegregation Black Neighborhoods have been destroyed
and desegregated neighborhoods have been abandoned. Left behind are those
who, In far too many instances, are not dedicated to the best interest of the student
they teach.  The worst thing to happen to the education of Blacks and the poor is the
closing of schools In Black neighborhoods, busing the children to schools In White
neighborhoods and putting a Negro In charge.  Blacks gained a false sense of
security when Negroes were put In the position of Principal without the true power of
Principal, and In the position of Superintendent without the true power of
Superintendent. Additionally, Negroes are elected to the Board of Directors to merely
be puppets for the Courts and politics.

The biggest danger facing Urban school districts is the silence of Black Educators
and the silence of the community about the problems they face and the problems
caused by Negro Administrators catering to the desires of the status quo.

Former President George Bush, Sr. said that the school is the hub of the community.
But it appears that Black minority and the poor communities are expected to exist
without "hubs."  The 25 largest Urban Districts are projected to be predominately
Black, minority and poor by 2005.  Regarding education reform, George Bush, Sr.
Said that there will not be a renaissance In education without revolution. Our nation's
future security depends on a sound education system.

Democracy will fail if there is not justice, equity and truth In education, law
enforcement, government and the court system.   Desegregation - Enough is Enough

URBAN SCHOOL DISTRICTS WILL BE DIVERSE AND POOR UNLESS BRIDGES
                                   ARE BUILT RATHER THAN BURNED!

We cannot control where people choose to live. But we can control the quality and
safety of our schools and neighborhoods.  We must build bridges of knowledge,
understanding and compassion for our diversity to benefit all rather than allow it to be
used to keep us poor and voiceless.  We must ask our political representatives -
"What's In the deal for us?" Together we can keep the wealth In the urban areas
rather than let it follow those who do not want to live with us.

OUR PURPOSE IS TO BUILD BRIDGES THAT HELP THE RESIDENTS OF OUR
                         NEIGHBORHOODS AND COMMUNITIES!
All individuals and organizations must work together to maintain a data base of
violations of peoples rights so that a pattern of practice discrimination can be
established.
All organizations must help individuals file complaints and keep records of each
complaint.
